Tezpur Quick Response Team Recruitment

Applications are invited from the intending candidates for the recruitment of Quick Response Team (CQRT) at Tezpur Revenue Circle with following terms and conditions. Interested & eligible candidates may apply here as per the criteria prescribed given below.

Nature of service: Enrolment as a member of the Circle Quick Response Team (CQRT) as first responder in Revenue Circle as a part of the “Scheme for strengthening Circle Disaster Management Committees”, an initiative of Assam State Disaster Management Authority.

No. of COAT members required: 8 (Eight) nos. (Only for Tezpur Revenue Circle).

How to Apply For CART Tezpur:

The application must be submitted as per the prescribed Application Form-A. “Application for enrolment as a member of the Circle Quick Response Team (COAT)” which may be downloaded from https://sonitpur.gov.in. The applicants are required to submit a prescribed application form along with self-attested photo copies of all documents (Educational qualification/ Sports! Physical fitness/any certificates related to Civil Defence/ NCC! NSS/ any other documents related to Disaster Management) and two copies of recent passport size photographs. The Applicants are requested to submit applications to The Circle Officer Tezpur Revenue Circle. Tezpur. Pin: 784001.

Last Date of submission of Application: Applications will be received in office of the Circle Officer Tezpur Revenue Circle, Sonitpur from 02.09.2021 till 16.09.2021 upto 04:00. pm. Application received after last date & time shall be liable to be summarily rejected.

Selection Criteria to Circle Quick Response Team (CART):

I. He/ She shall be a citizen of India and permanent resident of Assam, only resident of Tezpur Revenue Circle will be eligible to apply for CQRT.

II. Her She shall have completed the age of 18 years provided that this age limit may be relaxed at the discretion of the competent authority up to a maximum of 3 years. A person should not have attained 55 years for enrolment into the COAT.

III. He/ She shall have passed at least the primary standard, that is to say, the fourth class, and this condition may be relaxed by the competent authority at his discretion.

IV. Both men and women shall be eligible for enrolment into the team.

V. A person shall not be entitled to be enrolled into the team, unless he/she is found to be physically fit and mentally alert.

VI. Any service in the National Volunteer Team and in the Armed Teams of the Union, Ex-servicemen shall be a special qualification.

VII. He/she should have an interest in sports/NCC/ NSS etc. having valid certificates of achievement in relevant field will draw extra credits.

VIII. Knowledge of swimming is an essential criterion.

IX. He/she should have an interest in disaster management activities. He/she be willing to render services to the community.

X. Any person in regular service/ salaried jobs will not be eligible to enroll under COAT unless he/she is able to produce a certificate from his employer agreeing to spare his service for CQRT training and duty, when so required.
