Cadre Strength: 623
No. of Vacant Post: 111 (One Hundred Eleven) Nos.
Pay Scale: Pay band 2. Rs. 14000/- to 60500/- with GP 8700/-
Age : The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2021. The upper age limit is relaxable –
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e., up 10 43 years
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e., up to 41 years
(iii) For Persons with benchmark disabilities by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC/ MOBC and OC candidates as per Govt. Notification no. ABP. 144/95/121 dtd.28/ 10/2015
The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation / HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Central / State Board / Council and no other documents shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.
PHE Junior Eng.( Civil) Recruitment Educational Qualification: 3 (three) years Diploma Course in Civil Engineering from an institution recognized by AICTU. Mere acquiring of higher degrees will carry no weightage.
PHE Junior Eng.(Civil) Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:
(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(ii) The Candidate toast produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose as a proof of residency along with the application form.
(iii) The candidate must produce registration certificate of Employment Exchange in the state of Assam along with the application form,
Screening/Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted and selected on the basis of merit as per academic, performance.

For PwD Category: To be eligible for consideration under PwD Category a candidate must possess Benchmark Disabilities and must produce Supporting. necessary PwD certificate issued by the competent authority along with the application form,
EWS: EWS candidates must produce the Income & Assets certificate of the family issued by the Officer not below the rank of Circle Officer as per provision of para 5 of Govt, OM no.
The candidates applying for the post should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for recruitment to the post. If on verification at any time before or after the screening procedure it is found that they do not fulfil any of the eligibility conditions or have furnished any incorrect/false information then their candidature for the post will be cancelled by the appointing authority.
