PB-1= Rs. 12000- 52000/- + Grade Pay – Rs. 3900/- PM plus other allowance as per rules of the Govt. of Assam.

N.B: The Reservation will be filled up as per Govt. norms.


✅ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. Candidates must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5-8 of the Constitution of India.

2. The Candidates must have registered their names In any Employment Exchange In Govt. of Assam and registration No. and date must be mentioned In their applications.

3. The age of the candidates shall be not less than 18 years or more than 40 years as on the 1st day of January.

4. For the purpose of determining the age limit, the department will accept only the date of birth recorded In the Matriculation or equivalent examination certificate/Admit card issued by a recognized Board

5. A document like an affidavit etc, shall not be accepted as proof of age.

6. Educational Qualification:

a. Minimum qualification Class VIII Passed from any recognized Educational Institution/School.

b. The only candidate who has maximum education qualification up-to HS passed may apply.

c. All candidates must submit documents related to his/her all educational qualification in relation to the highest level achieved.

d. If at any point it is discovered/revealed that a candidate has suppressed information regarding his/her educational qualification than his/her candidature will be terminated.

 

✅HOW TO APPLY:

1. The application must be submitted online through the website https://niyukti.assam.gov.in only and no other form of applications will be entertained.

2. While applying online the candidates need to indicate their choice as 1st, 2nd & 3rd post of Peon, Khalashi & APPO (anyone) respectively.

3. It may be noted that the choice given during the applications process will be considered final and cannot be changed at a later date.

4. Candidates already in service should apply through Proper Channel.

5. The candidate should upload self-attested scanned copies of the following documents

a. Educational qualification certificate.

b. Age proof certificate (i.e. Birth Certificate issued by a competent authority or School Certificate issued by recognized Institutions).

C. Caste Certificate, In case of the candidate applying under the Reservation categories.

d. Valid Employment Exchange Registration Card/Certificate.

e. Recent Passport size color photograph of size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm with white background.

f. EWS Certificate issued by the competent authority.

g. In case of candidates of PWD category, a certificate on following categories to be submitted, issued by the Social Welfare Department as per instructions of Government O.M. 

h. Specimen signature of the candidate by Black Ballpen.

i. Declaration in Form “A”under rule 5(1) of the Assam Public services (Application of Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019 is mandatory. Specimen copy will available in the link https://niyuktlassam.gov.in

6. The candidates will then click on the Complete button to indicate that they agree to all entries made in the form. The candidates can then download the registration/application with an ID number.

7. Candidates will be able to download the Admit Card/Call Letter from the website entering their ID number. Candidates will be informed through SMS and email on their mobile number and email address. The Department will no be responsible for any discrepancies that may arise due to entry of wrong mobile number, email address and other particulars by the candidate.

 

✅SELECTION PROCEDURE :

1. The candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in an Objective Type Combined written test to be held at specified venues as per date & time mentioned in the Admit Card/Call Letters.

2. A written test will be held for 100 marks for 2.30 hours duration (English-20 marks, General knowledge-40 marks, Language Skills Test in Assamese — 20 marks & Numerical Ability — 20 marks).

3. A combined list for all Grade-IV vacancies as stated above will be prepared on merit basis.

4. From the said merit list, a candidate will be shortlisted cadre-wise according to the advertised made i.e. first shortlisting will be made for Peon, then for Khalasi and then for APPO.

5. Against each vacancy 4 (four) candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the Combined Written Test.

6. The candidates shortlisted through Combined Test will have to attend for documents verification and the date time & Venue for documents verification will be intimated to the candidates concerned in due course of time.

7. The final select list will be prepared after document verification and will contain the names of candidates equal to the number of vacancies advertised and selected.

8. The Final Select list will be published in two widely circulated newspapers.

9. The appointment will be made on receipt of satisfactory Police Verification Report and Medical Fitness Certificate from the competent authority.

10. There will be no viva-voce for all categories.


✅POINT TO BE NOTED:

1. Incomplete applications shall summarily be rejected.

2. Canvassing directly or indirectly shall disqualify a candidate

3. No T.A./D.A. will be admissible for attending the test/interview.

4. The selected candidate will have to submit an undertaking to the appointing authority that they will abide by the new Pension Rules of the Government issued Vide Finance Departments.

5. No body without Admit Card/Call Letters shall be allowed to enter Examination Centre.
