Applications in Standard Form of Application as published in the Assam Gazette Part-IX are invited from interested candidates who are a bonafide citizen of India vide for filling up of following vacant posts under the establishment of the Inspectorate of Electricity, Assam.

Eligibility, requisites, procedure, terms & conditions, etc.:

(1) Candidates must be Citizen of India within the meaning of Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

(2) Candidates must not be of age less than 18 years and more than 40 years as on 1st January 2021. However, the upper age limit is relaxable in case of SC, ST & other candidates as per Govt. OM No. ABP 06/2016/04, Dtd. 3rd March’ 2016.

(3) Candidates applying for the above posts must possess the prescribed minimum qualification mentioned above.

(4) Candidates. who are already employed. should submit their application through proper channel.

(5) The candidates qualifying in the written test shall be called for Computer proficiencies test and original documents verification process.

(6) Candidates will have to appear for a written test/computer proficiencies test at their own expenses if and when called for.

(7) The Written test, as well as Computer proficiency test, shall be held at Guwahati only

(8) The envelope containing the application should be clearly superscribed as “Application for the post of Junior Assistant” with “Category ST(P)/SC/UR”, whichever is applicable.

(9) The applications are to be submitted with the following requisites attached thereto:

(a) One self-addressed envelope of size 5 Cm X 11 Cm affixing unused postal stamp of Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five Only).

(b) Self- attested copies of all certificates & Mark sheets in support of Educational & other Qualification, Diploma in Computer, Age, Caste etc.

(c) 2(two) copies of recent passport size photographs signed and dated by the candidate on the reverse side of those.

(d) Self- attested copy of valid Registration Certificates of Employment Exchange. (10) Incomplete and wrongly filled in the application form will be rejected and no appeal and/or correction in that regard shall be entertained.

(11) Pension Scheme: “Government servants joining the service of the State Govt. on or after 1st Feb./05 shall not be governed by the existing Assam Services (Pension) Rules, 1969 and orders issued thereunder from time to time. So far as their pension and other retirement benefits are concerned, they will be governed by a new set of Pension Rules formulated in line with the Contributory Pension Scheme announced by the Govt. of India vide Finance Deptt.

(12) Any postal delay in the process of this matter shall not be a matter of responsibility of the undersigned.

(13) Canvassing directly or indirectly will be deemed to be appropriate ground for disqualification of the candidature.

(14) The undersigned reserves the right to accept, modify or cancel the advertisement and to cancel or postpone written test/interview without assigning any reason thereof.

(15) Candidates should note that authorities may subsequently prepare a short list from the applicants by fixing of cut off level and only those candidates who would qualify to enter the shortlist may be called for a written test.

(16) The last date of submission of an application to the undersigned is 06th March 2021 during office hours. Application received after the last date of submission of application will not be entertained.
