1. Navik (General Duty)
Total No of posts: 260 no’s

2. Navik (Domestic Branch)
Total No of posts: 50 no’s

3. Yantrik (Mechanical)
Total No of posts: 20 no’s

4. Yantrik (Electrical)

Total No of posts: 13 no’s

5. Yantrik(Electronics)
Total No of posts: 7 no’s

Pay Scale:

(a) Navik (General Duty): Pay band of Rs. 21700/–(Pay Level–3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.

(b) Navik (Domestic Branch): The basic salary scale of Navik (DB) is 21700/– (salary scale-3) plus dear allowances and other allowances, according to the current regulations and the nature of the duty/work location.

(c) Yantrik: The basic salary is Rs. 29200/– (payment level–5). In addition, you will get Yantrik pay @ Rs. 6200/– plus family allowances and other allowances based on duties/posting locations in accordance with current regulations

Eligibility Criteria of Coast Guard Navik & Yantrik Recruitment

Age Limit: Minimum 18 Years and maximum 22 years as follows: –

(a) Navik (GD) and Yantrik: CandidatesBorn between 01 Feb 2000 to 31 Jan 2004 (both dates inclusive).
(b) Navik(DB): CandidatesBorn between 01 Apr 2000 to 31 March 2004 (both dates inclusive).

+Candidates  Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates is applicable only if posts are reserved for them.

Educational Qualification:

(a) Navik (General Duty): Candidates having 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

(b) Navik (Domestic Branch): Candidates having 10th from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

(c) Yantrik: Those candidates having 10^th certificate  from recognized institute by the Council of School Education (COBSE)” and “The Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecom (Radio/Electric) Engineering Diploma (AICTE) approved by the All India Technical Education Commission for 03 or 04 years” (AICTE)” .

or

“Level 10 and 12 courses approved by the Board of Education approved by the Council of School Education (COBSE)” and “Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecom (Radio/Electricity) Engineering approved by the All India Council for a period of 02 or 2003″ Technical Education (AICTE)”.

Examination Fee: Candidates (except SC/ST candidates, who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 250/-(Rupees Two hundred Fifty only) through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ Maestro/Rupay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI.

How to Apply for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment

(a) Applications will be accepted ‘Online only’ from 02 Jul 21(1000 hrs) TO 16 Jul 21(1800 hrs). Candidates are to logon to https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in and follow the instructions for registering yourself with e-mail ID/mobile number. The candidates are to ensure validity of e-mail and mobile number at least up to 30 Jun 2022.

(b) The candidate can apply for only one post viz. either Navik (DB) or Navik (GD) or Yantrik (Mechanical) or Yantrik (Electrical) or Yantrik (Electronics) in one cycle.
