Salient features
Interest subvention of 3{37632549f10ffff720969b4ab77e00ced6668940cd3eefd99db86ec5b5daf659} on the working capital loan per annum subject to a maximum of 20 lakhs.
Industrial unit manufacturing orthodox tea/specialty tea eligible for a subsidy of Rs. 7 per kg.
25{37632549f10ffff720969b4ab77e00ced6668940cd3eefd99db86ec5b5daf659} subsidy on the cost of new plant and machinery installed for manufacturing orthodox /specialty tea, subject to a maximum of 30 lakhs.
Agricultural income tax holiday for 3 years.
Eligibility Criteria
Tea manufacturing units producing:
1. Orthodox Tea.
2. Specialty Tea including Green Tea, Oolong Tea, White Tea, Yellow Tea, Purple Tea.
Units should be located in the state of Assam.
Time period of benefits
The scheme is applicable for a period of 3 years.
