APDCL Assam Recruitment of Sahayaks and Office cum Field Assistants general information to all concerned

Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) has noticed that various electronic media and newspapers have intimated the public In general that APDCL has failed to conclude the selection process for recruitment of Sahayaks and Office cum Field Assistants from the experienced category for a very long period of time. In this regard, APDCL wishes to clarify to all concerned that the selection process for recruitment to the posts of Sahayaks and Office cum Field Assistants (experienced category) started by an advertisement dated 14°’ August, 2018 and the final select list on merits (experienced category) has been published on the APDCL website and various newspapers on 10n February, 2020. Against the select list, as many as 51 writ petitions have been filed before the Hon’ble Gauhati High Court challenging the said select list and the process of selection. The Hon’ble High Court by an interim order directed APDCL not to fill up the relevant posts and accordingly, the posts have not been filled up.
