 Applications are invited from intending eligible candidates, who are citizens of India as defined in Article 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India, in the prescribed Standard Form of application for filling up vacant posts (highlighted hereunder in the table) in the establishment of District & Sessions Judge. Hojai of Judicial Department, Government of Assam. The qualification, eligibility criteria and reservation are set forth in the table against the posts after taking into due consideration the relevant rules of government as amended from time to time.

1. Name of Post- Head Jarikarak

No of Posts-1

Requisite Qualification- Candidates must have served not less than 2 (Two) years of continuous service in any establishment of Judicial Department as Jarikarak/Peon.

Scale of pay with Grade Pay- Rs. 14000-49000/- + G.P-5,600/- per month along with other admissible allowances as per ROP Rules, 2017.

 

 2. Jarikarak

No of Posts-1 5 (Five)

Requisite Qualification- Minimum VIII Standard Pass

Scale of pay with Grade Pay- Rs. 14000-49000/- + G.P-5,200/- per month along with other admissible allowances as per ROP Rules, 2017.

 

3. Driver

No of Posts-1 (One)

Requisite Qualification- Minimum VIII Standard Pass

Scale of pay with Grade Pay- Rs. 14000-49000/- + G.P-5,200/- per month along with other admissible allowances as per ROP Rules, 2017.


4. Peon

No of Posts-8 (Eight) Minimum VIII Standard Pass. Rs.12000-37500/- + G.P-Rs.3900/- per month along with other admissible allowances as per ROP Rules, 2017.


5. Chowkidar 1 (One)

No of Posts-1 (One)

Requisite Qualification-Minimum VIII Standard Pass.

Scale of pay with Grade Pay- Rs.12000-37500/- + G.P-Rs.3900/- per month along with other admissible allowances as per ROP Rules, 2017.

 

6. Sweeper

No of Posts-1 (One)

Requisite Qualification-Minimum VIII Standard Pass Rs.12000-37500/- + G.P-Rs.39001- per month along with other admissible allowances as per ROP Rules, 2017. 

 

Terms & Conditions:

1. The applicants must submit their applications in the Standard Form of application published in Assam Gazette Part-IX (annexed with this advertisement). A candidate will have to submit 4 (Four) copies of recent passport size photographs and testimonials of his/her Age. Caste, Educational Qualification etc., along with the filled-up application form, in photocopy to be self-attested. Candidates will have to produce testimonials in original in the event of being selected for interview failing which his/their candidature will be rejected and the next eligible candidate from the merit list will be considered.

2. Candidates must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

3. For the posts of Jarikarak, Peon, Chowkidar, Sweeper and Driver, the age of the candidates must not be less than 18 years of age and more than 40 years of age as on 01.01.2021. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates; 3 years for OBCIMOBC candidates. 10 years in respect of Persons With Disabilities and 2 years in respect of Ex-Servicemen.

4. There must be a separate application in separate sealed envelopes for separate post and post applied for should be conspicuously mentioned in the envelope.

5. A provisional ‘Select List’ and “Reject List’ will be notified in due course of time in the official website of Hojai Judiciary, viz. https://districts.ecounts.gov.in/hojai

6. Call letter will not be individually sent to the applicants and they have to collect the same from the Office of the undersigned or as per the information provided in https://districts.ecounts.gov.in/hojai

7. Applicants must mandatorily provide their contact number and e-mail ID (If available) in their application.

8. The selection against the above-mentioned posts would solely be based upon the candidate’s performance in interview/viva-voce only. A candidate has to secure a minimum of 60{37632549f10ffff720969b4ab77e00ced6668940cd3eefd99db86ec5b5daf659} in the interview to be eligible for selection. Candidates with work experience will be preferred. The date of the interview will be intimated in due course of time in the official website.

9. The intending candidates for the post of Head Jarikarak shall submit their applications through proper channel including experience certificate issued by the respective District and Sessions Judge or equivalent courts.

10. Candidates applying for other posts who are already in government service have to apply through proper channel.

11. For the post of driver, a professional LMV licence is mandatory. Self-attested photo copy of the same has to be sent along with the application form. Also, the candidates shortlisted for interview will have to undergo a driving test as and when called for by the Selection Board. The final evaluation of the candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in the driving test plus interview.

12. Completed applications along with all testimonials as mentioned above should be addressed to ‘The Office of District & Sessions Judge, Sankardev Nagar, Hojai. 782442‘ through post or may be placed in the box labelled as “Drop Box for Applications’ which will be placed inside the premise of the court of the undersigned.

13. Last date for receipt of applications is 30.07.2021. Drop Box will be closed after the said date.

14. If any candidate is found to have suppressed his educational qualifications or provided any false information at the time of applying for the post, the candidature shall be liable to be rejected.

15. Merely satisfying the eligibility criteria will not entitle a candidate to be called for the viva voce.

16. No T.A / D.A will be admissible for appearing in interview/ viva-voce.

17. Canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify the candidature.

18. Incomplete applications, i.e.. those without necessary particulars. signature. pho-tographs, testimonials etc., shall be summarily rejected.
