Assam Minority Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme
Assam Minorities Development Board invites online applications for the scholarship, given by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India for availing scholarships under Pre-Matric Scholarship for the year 2021-22 scheme”.
Ministry of Minority Affairs (MoMA) provides an opportunity to the students belonging to six Minority communities notified by the Government of India (Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, Zoroastrian (Parsis), Muslim and Christian) for availing scholarships under the Pre-Matric Scholarship for the year 2021-22.
Minority Pre-Matric Scholarship Important Dates
The last date for submitting applications for Fresh scholarship (first-time applicant)and Renewal scholarship (an applicant who has got scholarship during 2020-21) by students is 15 November 2021.
(Pre-Matric Scholarship)
The applicant should be a student of the notified minority communities (Jain, Buddhist, sikh, Zoroastrian (Parsis), Muslim and Christian). The applicant/student should be pursuing studies in India in Government/ Provincialised/ Recognised/Private School/ Institute.
Pre-Matric Scholarship will be awarded to the students of Class I to X who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination for Fresh scholarship and the eligibility criteria of 50% marks for renewal scholarship of students has been relaxed by the Ministry, a student passing the previous final examination / promoted to next class will be treated as eligible for the year 2021-22. The family annual income of their parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh. The scholarship will not be given to more than two students from a family.
For Applicants
Applicants are advised to apply online against the scholarship scheme on the website of National Scholarship Portal at www.scholarshIps.gov.in (a link to the site is also available at www.minorityaffairs.gov.in) or Mobile App-National Scholarships (NSP).

Applicant is advised to give only that bank account details which remain inactive mode or compliant as per bank’s instructions so that payment of Scholarship does not fail.
Pre-Matric Scholarship For Schools/ Institutes
Eligible Schools/Institutes where minority student is studying, should get themselves registered with Aadhaar (if not done earlier) on National Scholarship Portal and submit the printout copy of Institute (KYC) registration forms along with supporting documents to the concerned District Nodal Officer on or before 10th November, 2021 for approval. Institutions whose KYC forms is already approved are requested to Authenticate AADHAAR for INOs and Head of Institutes at Institute Login on NSP on or before 5th November, 2021. It is mentioned here that the institutional Head/ Institute Nodal Officer will keep the Online applications (Hard copy) along with supporting documents from the students. After receiving Online applications from the students they will Login to the Institute and thoroughly verify/approve the Online applications within 15th December, 2021 and submit the verified list with seal and Signature along with supporting documents to the concerned District Nodal Officer on or before 20th December, 2021 for District level verification.
